    Summary

    Decision Date: October 3, 2005

    Panel: Alan Andison

Keywords: Consent order, hunting licence suspension

Kevin Munday appealed the decision by the Deputy Director of Wildlife (the “Deputy Director”) to suspend his hunting privileges for three years.  The Deputy Director agreed with Mr. Munday’s submission that he was less culpable than his hunting partner, who had also received a three-year suspension, and, therefore, a three-year suspension for Mr. Munday was too harsh.  By consent of the parties, the Board ordered that the suspension be reduced from three years to two-and-a-half years, and that the requirement that Mr. Munday complete the CORE program be deleted from the decision.
